Celui-ci la nomma Abbeville, en l&rsquo;honneur de sa\u00a0<a title=\"Abbeville\" href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Abbeville\">ville natale<\/a>. Il n&rsquo;y avait avant cela que deux habitants, Joseph Leblanc et son \u00e9pouse Isabelle Broussard, dont la maison fut transform\u00e9e en chapelle. Celle-ci ayant br\u00fbl\u00e9 en 1854, l&rsquo;\u00e9glise Sainte-Marie-Madeleine fut construite sur le m\u00eame emplacement<a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Abbeville_(Louisiane)#cite_note-1\">1<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">C&rsquo;est le P\u00e8re M\u00e9gret lui-m\u00eame qui dessina le plan d&rsquo;Abbeville.
